The Memory Box is the 2014 #1 Bestselling Book at Indie Bookstore in New Jersey

I just received news from The Town Book Store in Westfield, NJ, that their 2014 #1 Bestselling book (adult fiction and non-fiction) was The Memory Box! Can you believe it? What an honor. Their top ten list is super impressive and includes some of my favorite books, like Gone Girl, Where’d You Go Bernadette, The Goldfinch, The Light Between Oceans and more; but mine took the #1 spot!

To all the amazing book lovers in Westfield, NJ and the surrounding towns, thank you from the bottom of my heart. The town’s support, and the people in it, has been awe inspiring. Westfield is where it all started and the readers of this community have helped to put The Memory Box on the map! Their enthusiasm in spreading the word is wonderful and it’s working! I’ve met many of them through the book clubs I’ve attended, which to date is over 40, with another 15 planned for the next few months. My book club tour has spread nationally (through Skype) and internationally. Keep ’em coming — and send me photos please! If any of you know the owner of an independent bookstore, please share this news. I love the indies! May 2015 be a year filled with inspiration, happiness and good reads for all (maybe even a new one from me…) xoxo

      1. I do indeed! You took quite a leap of faith by entrusting your manuscript to me. I was taken with it from the first read, and I can’t tell you how thrilled I am that it is doing so well.
